Features

Made for reading first, looking things up second

The text stays a book. The tools appear only when you ask for them.

01

The whole KJV, offline

All 66 books of the 1769 text, with the translators’ italics and the LORD in small capitals. Nothing is downloaded at run time.

02

Tap any phrase

See the Strong’s number, the dictionary headword (Hebrew, Aramaic or Greek), transliteration, pronunciation guide and the full Strong’s definition.

03

Honest about ambiguity

When a phrase carries two numbers, you choose. When the source has no number, the app says so instead of guessing.

04

Every verse with this word

A concordance for each number, in Bible order, filtered by testament or book, with the matching phrase highlighted. Open the chapter and come back to where you were.

05

Search the way you think

“John 1:1”, “Jn 3”, “G3056”, “H7965”, “faith”, or an exact phrase in quotes.

06

Bookmarks and saved words

Keep verses and dictionary entries for later. Adjustable text size, light and dark, optional inline Strong’s numbers.

Changes made: the XML files were converted into a database, whitespace normalised, and dictionary cross-references written as G/H numbers. Full notices are in the app under Settings › About. Strong’s numbers link words to dictionary entries; meaning depends on context.
